Wah, this one is not just a red card, this one is straight-up career game over.
Our local sports scene just got hit by a massive bombshell. One Team Singapore athlete was dragged to court facing some super jialat sex charges. But because he was only 17 when the thing supposedly happened, the law says we cannot say his name. So don’t go itchy-hand and go try and CSI his identity on HardwareZone, okay? Can get fined one!
But the details? Gua gua.
From Keyboard Warrior to Bukit Batok HDB
So how did this all start? Apparently, our sportsman met the victim online. The major problem here? The victim was only 12 years old. Alamak, bro, 12 years old is primary school, leh!
According to the court charge sheet, the alleged incident happened at some HDB block down in Bukit Batok. Now he’s facing two charges of rape and one charge for an indecent act just for kissing a child’s lips. Truly bo chueh (no constraints).
Instant Game Over: Funding All Gone!
The moment the big bosses at the sports association found out last week, they didn’t even wait for the referee to blow the whistle. They immediately pulled the plug on his “carding support.”
For those who don’t know, carding support is like the golden ticket for athletes—it pays for your gym, your pocket money, your supplements, and your overseas training trips. The bosses basically told him: “You play-play with the law, we take back our money. Bye-bye.” Team SG got high standards, okay? Cannot anyhow character.
Next Stop: Changi Resort?
The case is now delayed until July 30, 2026, because the lawyers need time to do their homework.
If this fellow is found guilty, he won’t be running on any stadium tracks for a very long time. For the rape charges alone, he is looking at up to 20 years in jail, plus a heavy fine, or getting his backside rotan-ed (caning).
Looks like his next major sports event might just be the Changi Prison annual sports day. Heng ong huat to him.
